Glass-ceramic composition comprises: (a) an oxide ceramic containing barium, titanium, a rare earth metal and an oxide of a pentavalent metal; and (b) a glass material containing an oxide of a divalent metal, an oxide of a trivalent metal and an oxide of a tetravalent metal. An independent claim is also included for a ceramic body made from the above glass-ceramic composition.
