The gun-launched laser beam riding guided missile system has been used widely. The gun-launched missile system belongs to the precision guidance weapon with much advanced technology. For the operators, they are required with high operating skill and systematic training. But, for the live fire, it is cost too expensive, and the lab simulation training equipment is with great difference to the live firing, so the training effect always misses the expected. This paper presents a development concept of embedded training system which consists of gun-launched training projectile, embedded training control system, directing and commanding evaluation center, multiple combat drilling units and wireless communication network (simulated tactical internet). This training system is embedded into the main battle equipment, which can train operators to complete all the operation steps under the realistic battlefield conditions and scientifically evaluate the training results. As an applied gun-launched missile combat exercise with live ammunition system, it can real-time objectively evaluate the tactical effectiveness for both counter sides. This system may not only solve the problems of operator's operating skill training, but also be extended to drill soldiers' cooperation in one combat unit, combat teamwork among combat platforms and combat command. It is with favorable generalized and applied future.
