Evaluation on Indirect Economic Losses of Existing Railways' Geological Disasters

Geological disasters of existing railway not only seriously threaten people's lives and properties, but also cause enormous economical losses to Ministry of Railway and the nation. Although the evaluation for the economy losses of geological disasters is extremely important, the research progress on the evaluation of indirect economy losses is very less. Therefore, this paper focuses on the evaluation of indirect economy losses of existing railways' geological disasters, and the corresponding evaluation principles, items and methods were proposed. Thus this paper has laid a basic foundation for indirect economy losses evaluation of geological disasters.
