Comparison of Gaze Behavior Among Japanese Residents, Japanese Visitors, and Non-Japanese Visitors While Walking a Street

In this paper, we deal with gaze behavior while walking a street and make comparison among Japanese residents, Japanese visitors, and Non-Japanese visitors. The authors carried out an experiment in which the participants wore eye tracker and walked along a shopping mall. The visual objects were classified into 9 categories and frequency of the categories and the frequency of transition among the categories were counted. The statistical analysis revealed the feature of the gaze behavior of the three groups.
