摘要

Ozone generator based on the dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) has been developed usingpiezoelectric transformers (PT). This paper describes the dependence of material properties ofdielectric barrier electrode on ozone generation. Four kinds of dielectric materials are prepared fordielectric barrier electrodes. In continuous runing of the generator, temporal decrease in ozoneconcentration is observed due to the temperature increase inside the reactor. The higher ozoneconcentration with the lower temporal decrease is basically obtained by the electrode materialshaving large thermal conductivities. Hence, the dielectric material having the higher thermalconductivity works well for heat sink to transfer the generated heat to outside through the material.
