This paper proposes a simple and effective technique that allows fault tolerance of the converter-machine assembly. The proposed approach is based on Lyapunov theory. This work describes a study of the different fault modes of a converter-machine system. To this end, we present a method for the three-phase modeling of the asynchronous machine (ASM) in the presence of a short-circuit fault between coils of a stator phase. This method is based on the theory of electromagnetic coupling of electrical circuits. The proposed control is verified by numerical simulation. The results of the numerical validation demonstrate that the good functioning of ASM in the presence of both faults.
