In Ideological and Political Education, there are two forms of characteristics: conscious and unconscious, but in view of the community and academics' increasingly concern about the ideology and its nature, we can promote the understanding and practice of the ideology, which has great significance. Concern about the ideology can give full play to the ideological function. In this article, based on the concept of political ideology, we determine the methods measuring the ideology, make an analysis of existing measures of political ideology and improvement measures; according to the IRT model, we analyze the structure of the political ideology, and make clear measures based on the potential problems while giving its guiding significance our effective analysis.
