摘要

We present the results of an experiment showing that certain handle orientations of a powered screwdriver are betterrnsuited for particular task positions. This was examined with objective measures of wrist posture deviation usingrngoniometers and subjectively using the Borg scale. Two powered screwdriver grip types were tested with two taskrnsurface orientations. There were significant effects of grip type and task orientation on wrist posture, in particular onrnflexion/extension and radial/ulnar deviations. The pistol grip handle orientation was better suited for the vertical taskrnposition and the inline handle orientation was better suited for the horizontal task position.
