Screwdriver handle comprises a storage chamber which can be displaced from the closed to opened position by displacing two handle elements (1, 2) with respect to each other. Handle element (1) is provided with a core (4) arranged in a cavity (3) of the other handle element (2). Both handle elements are held by locking devices (5, 7) which can be released from the locking position by applying pressure to an actuating area (8) to the front face of the handle. Preferred Features: The actuating area is formed by a push button arranged in a recess (26) of the face of the handle. The push button is displaced into the pot-like recess against the force of a restoring spring (27).
