Protective lacquers can have a lasting, positive influence on the reliability and service life of electronic products. However, this can only be ensured by the correct choice of a suitable lacquer system in connection with optimum processing. Since the use of electronic products is becoming more and more widespread and the fields of application are becoming more demanding, the importance of protective lacquers will doubtlessly increase in future. In order to achieve optimum results in the application of protective lacquers, it is therefore desirable that both the manufacturers of flat packs and the users of protective lacquers discuss and implement the desired properties and the correspondingly necessary and possible process steps together with the lacquer producers. Successful solutions for every individual application can only be worked out by means of such "round table" discussions.
