The present study was carried out to investigate the low temperature sintering and thermal properties of A1N added with mixed additives of CaO-YF_3 and Y_2O_3.rnAs the sample which sintered in the carbon reducing atmosphere at 1600℃ did not show high density, we tried two stage sintering. In the first stage, the mixtures were sintered in the non-reducing atmosphere for obtaining high density ceramics. After the first stage sintering, the samples were annealed in the strongly reducing atmosphere. Using the second stage sintering, high thermal conductivity (~250W/m • K) was obtained.
