Adsorption and desorption of carbon tetrachloride vapor were investigated on activated carbon fibers,metal impregmatedrnactivaed carbon and activated carbon deposited cloths at various conditions Carbon tetrachlouide vapor,evaporated by air rnbubbling and diluted in dry air,was passed through the carboneous adsoubents packed column at 0.61/min flow rate..The rnvapor concentration in influent and effluent air was measured by gas chromatography.The break point was fixed to rn0.005mg/l.The breakthrough curves were very steep after the break point.The adsorption capacity of carbon tetrachlouride on rnactivated carbon fiber at the activated carbon deposited cloth and metal impregmated activated carbon.Desorption of carbon rntetrachloride from activared carbon fiber was effectively performed in an autoclave.
