摘要

Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines Limited opened its new Toronto Terminal in 2000. Rollerrncompacted concrete (RCC) was used to pave the 69,000 square metre truck parking area. Truckrnterminals are subject to heavily loaded traffic, high abrasion due to short turning radii, point loads fromrndollies and very often container loads.rnThis paper discusses the design, construction and results of this technology, which is becoming more andrnmore widely used. Roller compacted concrete uses a very low water content mix, is placed andrncompacted with a paver equipped with a dual tamping bar spreader, rolled and cured to ensure durability.
