The electromagnetic field computation in outer conductors of coaxial wires is described here, and a numerical method for calculating the magnetic field density and the current density of the outer conductor is also presented. We have calculated the current distribution in the casing pipe in the oil well testing with an electromagnetic method in oil fields. The results coincide with those of the experiments.
