Computational methods used in the study of border breast lesions diagnosed by mammography and ultrasound

摘要

The aim of this paper is the assessment of the ultrasound and mammography examination in detection of mammary opacities. This study will analyse the value and the limits of these methods in diagnosis. Mammary ultrasound is complementary to mammography. Combining the two methods will increase the accuracy in finding and defining the mammary nodule, suspect of malignancy.
