Shared Respponsibility: An Approach to Productive LAN Management

There is no doubt that as information technology becomes increasingly more critical to the work of faculty, staff, administrators and students, the support demands on the central Information Technology organization of a university continue to grow exponentially. This support crisis makes it imperative that the IT organization develop solutions that will scale up to this burgeoning demand without putting excessive stress on the oftentimes already overworked technical support staff.
