An Improved and Simplified Design of Prototype Filters for Cosine Modulated Filterbanks Using Kaiser Window

摘要

In this work a simple design of prototype filters for cosine modulated filterbanks is proposed. Design uses Kaiser window filters. Cutoff frequency of the filter is optimized to minimize the reconstruction error used as an objective function. Very small values of reconstruction error have been obtained, resulting in near perfect reconstruction filterbanks.
