Regarding how students employ alternative electronic media in their routine activities, various electronic media used according to their personal preferences and class activities are investigated. The primary data collected by interviewing with questionnaires are based on quota sampling in a way that stratification and proportional allocation are considered.rnData analyses are made as the description of the proportional uses of the six popular media preferred by the students including the applications concerning their class work and personal activities. Their favourable attitudes toward the media used and the problems found from the applications are, also, described. Further, inferences about population parameters and association between or among interesting variables are made by appropriate parametric and nonparametric procedures. For dichotomous categorical variables, Fisher Exact Test is applied as to make inference for the difference between two proportions. Then, Phi-coefficient and Cramer's Statistic are determined for examining the association between variables with the test for significance. Goodman kruskal Tau and Somers'd statistics are, also, considered for investigating nominal and ordinal variables. Additionally, logistic regression is applied as to determine how an interesting response binary variable depends on other ordinal variables. Then, independence test is performed and the predicted logit can consequently be obtained.
