Social Engineering - Agent based network optimisation approaches, a new tool? What we have learned from network optimisation modelling

This paper discusses a new approach to network optimisation modelling using results gained from simulation of Voice over IP networks using bandwidths determined by constrained optimisation models. The news approach uses a multi agent system to determine a probabilistic design that allows for the social dynamics of users to be used as a design input.
