Real-Time Agent Development

摘要

In this position paper, a framework for the development of real-time mobile agents is introduced. The framework is based on Extreme Programming and UML and is intended to be used for constellations of agents with specific real-time needs (for example, network timeouts or user timing constraints) while at the same time being part of a constellation of other collaborative agents. This situation is analogous to the constraints placed on network drivers and the rest of the operating system in a real-time operating system.
