摘要

The knowledge of critical properties, densities and viscosities (in function ofrntemperature) of the main fatty compounds involved in the biodiesel production arernessential for process engineering. Even though several studies have reported propertiesrnfor some compounds (mainly for fatty acids), there are still a necessity of expanding therndatabank gathered from literature. In contrast to traditional methods based onrntemperature-dependence correlations, in this work, methodologies for propertyrnprediction based on group contribution methods are presented.
