Manufacturing Technologies for the Next Generation a-Si TFT-LCD

摘要

TFT-LCD panel for notebook PC application requires thin and light form factor, low power consumption, and good display quality. Whereas the desktop monitor asks different requirements such as large panel size, wide viewing angle, high resolution, brightness, etc. The current panel technologies need to be improved to cope with these requirements. Various approaches for the manufacturing of next generation TFT-LCDs are discussed.
