The present invention relates to an improved residual frequency error estimation device and its control method for 5G NR communication systems.To alleviate the residual frequency error that leads to performance degradation in 5G NR downlink systems using CP-OFDM modulation technology.After FFT, by estimating and correcting residual frequency errors more accurately in the frequency domain than traditional techniques,Not only can it prevent system performance degradation, but it can also estimate decimal frequency errors in the time domain before FFT in CP-OFDM based communication systems.By estimating the small residual frequency error in the frequency domain after FFT,In the 5G NR downlink system using CP-OFDM modulation technology, in order to prevent the loss of orthogonality of each subcarrier, residual frequency errors are estimated and compensated to prevent system performance degradation.
