The present invention relates to a beverage preparing capsule which can be deformed into a predetermined shape by external pressure, and a beverage preparation device comprising a shape deformation member for deforming the shape of the capsule. The present invention has solved the problem occurring in the prior art in that the internal volume of a capsule increases, and distribution of substances for preparing a beverage becomes uneven due to the gas generated in the beverage preparing capsule. The present invention is thus characterized in that a capsule is deformed before preparing a beverage so that the empty space inside the capsule can be removed and substances for preparing a beverage can be evenly distributed to a consistent height. As a result, a beverage of uniform quality always be provided through more consistent extraction time and extraction concentration. In addition, a sensuously superior beverage can be provided because more coffee solids can be extracted even if the same amount of beverage is extracted, and extraction is possible in a shorter period of time even if extracted at the same concentration. Furthermore, a sensuously superior beverage having a uniform extraction quality can be prepared even when a large-capacity capsule is used.
