A method for analyzing steroid hormones contained in a body hair sample of an animal, wherein body hair collected from an animal is used as a body hair sample, and a plurality of steroid hormones are mixed with acetonitrile 45 containing 0.1 M trifluoroacetic acid from the body hair sample. Provided are a method including an extraction step of extracting using an aqueous solution of 55% by volume to 55% by volume, and a measurement step of measuring the amounts of the extracted steroid hormones.
