A computer-implemented method for generating ground truth for natural language queries may include providing a knowledge graph as a data model, receiving a natural language query from a user, and translating the natural language query into a formal data query. In addition, the method may include making the formal data query visible to the user and receiving a response from the user. The feedbackanswer may include a verified and/or processed formal data query. In addition, the method may include saving the query in natural language and the corresponding response as a ground truth pair. A corresponding system and an associated computer program product can be provided.
