Folding scooter to prevent rattling

Various scooters are disclosed. In some embodiments, the scooter can include a pivot assembly that allows the scooter to move between a collapsed configuration and a deployed configuration. The pivot assembly can include a knob that releases the pin from the bracket to allow the scooter to be folded. Rotating the knob increases the compressive force on the elements of the pivot assembly and reduces rattling and wobbling motion when the scooter is used. Some embodiments of the scooter can include a central stand that can be deployed from both sides of the scooter deck to stabilize the scooter when the scooter is stationary. Certain embodiments have an ergonomic hand grip.
