Cardboard carton for tape cassettes - is produced from single blank with sections folded to provide extra stiffness to prevent rattling

A cardboard carton suitable for the secure packing of magnetic tape cassettes in such a way that the contents do not rattle, is produced from a single blank. The card is separated into four main areas (1, 2, 3, 4) with one area (1) forming the lid; one (2) a side, one (3) the base and the other (4) the remaining side. Each of these regions are marked by fold lines. Two of the side regions (B) have perforations to allow separation. The side regions (B, B', D) combine to form the remaining two sides of the box. The remaining sections on the card (C', E') are folded inwards to provide stiffening and the end region (A) is folded over to provide a tuck-in flap to seal the box.
