摘要
The vehicle lifting jack has a U-section column on a foot accommodating a crank-operated screwed spindle actuating a swing arm via a nut. The rear end of the arm has sides by which it pivots on the nut, these sides fitting round or in the column. One or more protrusions (46) are provided on the components moving in relation to each other when the arm swings, i.e. on arm and column (10) or nut (32). When the arm is swung down into the rest position these bear under pressure against the mating face of the adjacent part (22,24). They can increase in thickness in a direction inclined upwards and outwards from the lower edge of the arm, when this is in the working position. The design avoids rattling when the jack is stowed.
