Braking device (3) for tissue haemostasis or for tissue closure, completea clamping housing (6), where the clamping housing (6) is specially designed with a clamping base (7), preferably in the form of a housing,at least two clamping arms (8a, 8b),where the clamping arms (8a, 8b) are coupled with a distal end of a control wire (4) of a medical device and the clamping device (3) is operable to open and close the clamping arms (8a, 8b),where the clamping arms (8a, 8b) are connected at their proximal ends in such a way that the clamping arms (8a, 8b) can rotate around a common axis, the clamping arms (8a, 8b) are fitted with a guide nut (12) and the guide notes (12) of the clamping arms (8a, 8b) partially overlap; anda guide pin (13), where the guide pin (13) is attached to the clamp housing (6) and extends through the guide notes (12) in overlapping parts of the guide notes (12); that by an intervention of the guide pin (13) and the guide note (12) a movement of the axis of rotation is made into a closing movement of the clamping arms (8a, 8b) or into an opening movement of the clamping arms (8a, 8b) around the axis of rotation,where brackets (8a, 8b) are fitted with brackets (30), the brackets (30) extend laterally to the guide notes (12) and are so designed that the brackets (30) allow the guide pin (13) to pass on the brackets (30) to the distal ends of the guide notes (12), but prevent the steering pin (13) from passing in the opposite direction.
