FIELD: testing.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus and method for analysing particles and imaging particles or cells in fluids, and, in particular, to an apparatus and method for imaging particles in fluids using the pressure, the dynamics of the fluid, electrokinetic and optical forces. Proposed is a microfluid chip configuration wherein injection occurs upward in the vertical direction, and the tanks with a fluid are located under the chip to minimise particle deposition in front of the analysis site and on the chip channel analysis site. According to one aspect, the fluid is input and passed upward through the lower part of the chip using a manifold, thereby eliminating orthogonal reorientation of the dynamics of the fluid. The contents of the test tubes are located under the chip and are pumped upward and vertically directly into the first channel of the chip. The long channel continues from the lower part of the chip almost to the upper part of the chip, wherein the channel is replaced by a short horizontal one. The fluid is pumped upward to the horizontal analysis site, constituting the uppermost channel/uppermost location of the fluid in the chip and therefore located near the upper part of the chip, thereby forming a clearer image.;EFFECT: creation of a method and apparatus for analysing particles and imaging particles or cells.;96 cl, 9 dwg
