The present invention provides a sentence proofreading assistance device, a sentence proofreading assistance method, and a sentence proofreading assistance program which assists proofreading at a time when a picture book is created. A sentence proofreading assistance device has: a requirement input unit for inputting information relating to a development level of a subject person and information relating to a purpose of creating a picture book; an acquisition unit for acquiring a checking content and a rule corresponding to the information input by the requirement input unit; a sentence analysis unit for analyzing, in the case where sentences of a picture book to be proofread are input, the sentences of the picture book; and a proofreading information output unit for checking a result of the analysis by the sentence analysis unit on the basis of the check content, and outputting proofreading information based on the rule to proofread the sentences.
