PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify the state of a joint of the lower half of a human body in the state of a posture other than a decubitus position by using a device configuration as simple as possible.SOLUTION: A posture identification device comprises: a first acceleration sensor attached to at least one of the right and left thighs of a human body; a second acceleration sensor attached to the upper half of the human body; and a calculation unit which identifies the bending state of a joint of the lower half of the human body by using first acceleration information outputted by the first acceleration sensor and second acceleration information outputted by the second acceleration sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
