Simulation based training and assessment systems and methods

摘要

The present disclosure relates to a system method and technique for implementing metric based simulation training and assessment of operators for performing various medical procedures.The operator is able to practice medical techniques on a medical simulator that provides simulation of a real medical procedure.Simulations can be used to train operators and develop new skill sets to implement medical procedures or to assist trained operators to maintain their existing skill sets.The medical simulator can include the training phase and sub steps of the medical procedure to determine the set of performance metrics during the simulation and detect the occurrence of an error during the simulation, including training and assessment modules.
