The present invention relates to a vaccine composition for preventing or treating salmonellosis caused by Salmonella typhimurium in industrial animals containing inactivated dead cells of Salmonella typhimurium. The present invention relates to antigens in mice vaccinated with dead cells such as live cells by culturing Salmonella typhimurium strain and then treating with chlorhexidine digluconate solution or chlorhexidine diacetate salt hydrate, etc. It was confirmed that it showed effective resistance to salmonellosis as well as humoral immune response. Therefore, the dead cells such as live cells of the present invention are expected to be usefully used as a vaccine for preventing and treating salmonellosis caused by Salmonella typhimurium in industrial animals that can be safely, economically and conveniently inoculated.
