Provided is a controller for an electric power tool which can be stowed in a small space. A controller 8 comprises: a case 65 with two holes 71A, 71B; a first terminal 85 and a second terminal 77 configured to be inserted into one of the two holes 71A, 71B; a resin member 67 that holds the first terminal 85 and the second terminal 77 and that is housed in the case 65; and a circuit board 66 that is electrically connected to the first terminal 85 and the second terminal 77 and that is housed in the case 65.
