The present invention relates to a primer and a probe for detecting Nipah virus, and a method for detecting Nipah virus using the same. Specifically, since the primer and probe capable of detecting Nipah virus have excellent sensitivity and can specifically detect Nipah virus, the primer and probe set of the present invention can be usefully used for detection and diagnosis of Nipah virus, , it can be helpful in preparing effective quarantine measures against the virus.
