The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for artificial intelligence avatar matching through 5G communication-based conversation pattern analysis. An artificial intelligence avatar matching method through 5G communication-based conversation pattern analysis according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) generating a first user character object for a user; (b) learning characteristic information of the user with respect to the first user character object; (c) detecting a second user character object of another user that matches the user's characteristic information; (d) performing a dialog procedure between the first user character object and the second user character object; and (e) calculating a matching score with the other user according to the result of the conversation procedure.
