The present invention is a Kluyveromyces marxianus A5 strain entrusted with accession number KCCM 12598P and uses thereof, and the strain and its culture medium have antibacterial activity against Salmonella spp. It can be used as a feed additive and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating food poisoning.
