Problem to be solved: to provide a button battery that utilizes the radial space sufficiently.The button cell comprises a metal housing 1, a cell disposed in the metal housing, and a cover plate 3 disposed in the metal housing.The cell includes a cathode and an anode.The cover plate and the metal housing have the same polarity and are integrated by laser welding to achieve more reliable sealing of the battery housing.The cap 4 is disposed on the outer surface of the cover plate and projects therefrom.An insulating member 5 is disposed between the cover plate and the cap so that no short circuit occurs between the cover plate and the cap.One of the cathode and anode is electrically connected to the metal housing, while the other of the cathode and anode is electrically connected to the cap.Diagram
