A foil device for a vessel, in particular a windsurfing or kiteboard, is revealed, with a mast foot on a pedestal bearing a mast, which is used in a board-side partition of a base plate. According to the invention, the mast base and the base plate are so designed that the insertion can be done by angling. In addition, a foil arrangement has been revealed in which a fixing device for fixing the mast foot to the base plate is carried out with a retractor and an additional tensioning device.
