Provided are a device and method for estimating nutritional intake amount, with which it is possible to estimate with good precision the nutritional components taken in by a user, and a health management assistance device and a health management assistance method using said device and method.　This device for estimating nutritional intake amount comprises: an acquisition unit (11) that acquires purchased food information for a subject and eating habit information for the subject; an extraction unit (12) that extracts nutritional component information for the purchased food from the purchased food information; and an estimation unit (13) that estimates the nutritional intake amount of the subject based on the nutritional component information for the purchased food and the eating habit information for the subject.
