PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which scarcely requires input work in a home and assists nutrition management in ordinary home. SOLUTION: A salesclerk inputs data on purchased goods into a register 13 when the bill is paid. The register 13 takes off the price and the like of the goods whose data is inputted from a database 14, and outputs data on the kind of food and the like included in the purchased goods together with time information into a card writer 12. The card writer 12 writes the received food data into a magnetic card 11. A user, in his/her home, depending on the information taken off from the magnetic card 11 with a card reader 16, retrieves, regarding food information for a predetermined period in the past, in a food database 18 using an information processing terminal 17, takes off nutrition information, executes predetermined processing, and generates screen data to output it to a display device 19.
