Appliances for facilitating putting-on of garments. -A coat or other outer garment is held by the collar, ready for putting on, by spring clips g attached to cords c, preferably elastic, passing over fixed pulleys b and meeting in a ring d, the height of which can be adjusted by means of studs f. The device may be fixed to a door or to a separate foundation a which may form part of a hat-stand, or if entirely separate may have an extension a1 to which clothes books h are attached.
