Tyre covers, tools for removing and replacing. -Relates to tools for manipulating tyres of the type comprising a hook portion to engage the wheel rim, and a pressure-piece. In the form shown in Fig. 3, for removing tyres, the hook a has a screwed shank a1 on which is operated a piece a2 to move the pressure-piece B forward to disengage the tyre from the rims. The pressurepiece comprises arms b1 with extensions b2 which may conform to the curve of the rim, and which extend a .substantial distance each side of the hook. In the form shown in Fig. 4, for replacing a tyre, the hook member C is bent at right-angles at c' to receive the screwed shank d of the pressure-piece D.
