The edges are turned over a base-plate a having an upward flange a2, and are secured by a clamping- plate f3 forming a part of the handle f, which is pressed down by the screw e and nut g. The polishing-sheet c is preferably made in the form of a pocket with a contracted opening bounded by an elastic cord or tape.
