Air, drawing-off, methods of.-In a room in which yarns and threads are gassed or singed, the air pressure is higher than that outside so that the pressure forces the products of combustion from the gassing-tubes a through the extension d and outlet pipe g into the atmosphere. Apertures may be formed in the outlet pipe so that the pressure in the gassing-room forces air into the pipe and so ventilates the room.
