Rims; tyre attachments to rims.-A rim for a pneumatic - tyred wheel comprises a ring 1, Fig. 2, and lateral flanges 5, which are provided with a number of pressed-out parts 6 to prevent creeping and aid in cooling the tyre. One of the flanges may be permanently secured by the riveted end of the sleeve bolt 7, while the other is detachably held by the screwed bolt 3 engaging the sleeve bolt. In a modification shown in Fig. 3, the bolt 3 is screwed into the ring 1 and reduced at each end, one end being riveted over one of the flanges, and the other end being screw - threaded to take a nut which secures the other flange. The rim may be fixed or detachable.
