15,294. Davies, H. E. June 25. Leggings. - To prevent leggings from being deformed or worn by contact with the boots, they are stiffened at the lower part by a plate, such as B, of brass, aluminium, celluloid, &c., which may be fixed in place by carrying the usual fastenings C, C1 through it. The plate may extend entirely round the lower part of the legging, as shown, or round the front part only. It may also be turned over the lower edge of the legging, to serve as a binding. If desired, the plate may be covered in with a thin piece P of leather &c.
