The main body of the figure is formed by contour wires x spaced apart by lazy - tong arrangements e, which terminate in rods 93, 94 sliding in a clip device 92 mounted on the shoulder-plate 86, Fig. 4. The rods 93, 94 are frictionally held in the adjusted position by spring-levers 96, Fig. 6. The shoulder crossbars 84, 85 slide in the plate 86, and one of them is held by a similar clip 89. The bars 133 are pivoted to a bolt 130 mounted on the plate 86, and to the neck part, which is adjusted vertically by a screw 100 having a pin-cushion head 102, and acting against a spring 110. The neck 121 is expanded by a slotted cam-plate 120, actuated by a lever-arm 122.
